Swissmint Issue Programme 2025
The year 2025 is set to highlight Swiss commemorative coins, with Swissmint as the guest of honour at the World Money Fair. Among the offerings is a tribute to a numismatic legend.

This year, four 20-franc silver coins will be released, showcasing themes from a range of fields. In addition to scientific and cultural subjects such as the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), aviation pioneers, and the painter-sculptor Jean Tinguely, the Swiss landscape is also celebrated with the Lago Maggiore + Lago di Lugano coin.
A bimetallic 10-franc coin will honour the judiciary on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Federal Supreme Court.
Another particularly noteworthy issue will be the 100-franc gold coin, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 100-franc Vreneli coin, which was minted only in 1925 in a limited run of 5,000 pieces.
