The fourth edition of the Directory of Circulating Coins has been published. Five years after the last edition, the useful reference book for current circulation coins is now up to date again.

Frédérique Duyrat will be the new Director of Collections and Keeper of the Heberden Coin Room in Oxford. Duyrat is currently Director of the Department of Coins, Medals and Antiques at the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris.

NGC introduces New High-Security Hologram with QR Codes
NGC is introducing a new high-security hologram as part of its efforts to combat counterfeiting of certifications. Among the hologram enhancements are a QR code and a numerical security code that are unique to the specific encapsulated collectible, making it extremely difficult for counterfeiters to replicate or tamper with the NGC holder.
