Stockholm Numismatica 2023

In 2023, Sweden’s largest numismatic event will be taking place for the third time with a large auction on Saturday 30 September and the International coin fair Stockholm Numismatica on Sunday 1 October (from 10 AM to 4 PM).

It is the third year in a row that Stockholm Numismatica is arranged, a joint arrangement by Sweden’s Coin Dealers Association and MISAB (Myntauktioner im Sverige AB). The trade fair coordinator is Roberto Delzanno and expressions of interest can be directed to him by e-mail. Both the auction and the coin fair are arranged in the same historic premises at the Sheraton Hotel in central Stockholm.

This year, MISAB sells a series of exclusive coins from the Gunnar Ekström collection previously exhibited in the Royal Coin Cabinet in Stockholm. Due to lack of space in the new premises, Gunnar Ekström’s foundation decided to sell these coins and medals. The first section was sold at Künker’s Summer Auction this year and the second part is now being sold at MISAB’s auction on September 30.

For all foreign visitors and buyers it is particularly worth mentioning that Sweden’s krona has become much weaker than before making this an ideal event to spend euros in buying coins.

Don’t miss a thing!
