Minerva Magazine Ceased Publishing
With the last issue of July/August 2023, Minerva Magazine will be discontinued. Founded in 1990, the archaeological magazine previously provided bi-monthly information on archaeology, art, and cultures of the ancient world. All current subscriptions will be replaced by a Current World Archeology subscription, which will provide news about new discoveries, reports on exhibitions, and detailed reviews.

According to a letter by Managing Director Robert Selkirk, “the effects of a global pandemic, and the rising cost of production have forced us to stop publication.”
The last issue for July/August was not printed anymore, but can be read online for free by everyone. The lead article discusses the gods of Dura Europos in today’s Syria.
In the same letter, Selkirk stated that the team is very grateful to Minervas loyal readers for their support over the last few years.
