PMG Grading On-site Service at the HKINF

Submissions for the December PMG and ASG on-site grading events can be made at NGC Hong Kong’s booth (A5-A8). PMG will also be offering free paper money evaluations on December 12.

Content

NGC Hong Kong Limited (NGC Hong Kong), the Hong Kong, China affiliate of Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC), Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS), Paper Money Guaranty (PMG) and Authenticated Stamp Guaranty (ASG), will accept PMG and ASG on-site grading submissions, regular NGC and NCS submissions, as well as free paper money evaluations at the Hong Kong International Numismatic Fair (HKINF), on December 11-13, 2023.

On-site Grading

Submissions for the PMG and ASG on-site grading events must be received by the NGC Hong Kong office by 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Submissions can be made in person (by appointment only) or by mail to the PMG and ASG Hong Kong office. Please write “HK OS” on the outside of the shipping label or box to ensure on-site grading. Submissions can also be made at NGC Hong Kong’s booth (A5-A8) at the HKINF from December 11 until 12:00 p.m. on December 13, 2023. NGC Hong Kong will endeavor to have all banknotes and stamps submitted for this event completed and ready for pick-up or return shipment starting Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Free PMG Evaluations

Chad Greenbach, a PMG Grader, will be conducting free evaluations of paper money. Evaluations will be provided from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday, December 12.

To ensure that PMG can help as many people as possible, there is a limit of 10 notes per person for the free evaluations. Evaluations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: Because evaluations are performed in a show environment, as opposed to our standard grading environment (with proper lighting conditions and facilities), all opinions should be used only as a guide. The grading opinion may change after the notes are submitted and evaluated at our office.

Submitting to NGC and NCS

Regular NGC and NCS submissions will also be accepted. All regular submissions to NGC and NCS are shipped with insurance to the companies’ headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for conservation and grading. After grading, collectibles are shipped with insurance to the companies’ Hong Kong office for pick up.

Completed submissions may be picked up at the Hong Kong office or shipped back to customers by prior arrangement.

Paid NGC, PMG and ASG Collector members (Associate and higher) and NGC, PMG and ASG Authorized Dealers can submit directly to NGC Hong Kong. Submissions can be made in person (by appointment only) or through the mail.
