Swissmint Becomes First eCommerce Partner on Coiniverse

Swissmint has become the first mint to join the numismatic smartphone application “Coiniverse” as an eCommerce Partner. Coiniverse introduced a new eCommerce Partnership level to support the eCommerce efforts of mints. As the first participant in this program, Swissmint will now have its coins available in the Coiniverse Shop section, along with a branded Shop-in-Shop functionality. This integration allows collectors to view coin availability and make purchases directly from the Coiniverse platform.

The eCommerce Partnership level includes several features for participating mints, including enhanced visibility and representation, placement of up to 50 coins in the Coiniverse shop, listings in the Coiniverse database to improve product availability visibility as well as access to future features of the eCommerce Partnership, including direct sales through Coiniverse.
Mikko Sievänen, CEO of Coiniverse, commented on the partnership, noting that it aligns with Coiniverse’s goal of advancing the industry’s digital capabilities. Jan Niklas Betz, Deputy General Manager and Head of Marketing & Sales at the Federal Mint Swissmint, mentioned that the partnership is significant for the visibility of Swiss coins worldwide. Swissmint has been a Member Mint in Coiniverse since 2021 and continues to adopt new eCommerce technologies to support its development and global presence in the coin collecting market.
