Ukraine Plans to Rename Small Coins: ‘Kopiyka’ to Become ‘Shah’
Ukraine is taking another step to distinguish itself from Russia by planning to rename its small coins. According to a statement from the National Bank in Kyiv, the term “Kopiyka” will be replaced with “Shah” in the future.
CIT’s Iron Maiden – Piece of Mind
Again CIT pays tribute to the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. In 2023, CIT’s coin is dedicated to the band’s fourth studio album “Piece of Mind”.

In April we had to report that at least 1,200 objects worth the equivalent of 2.6 million euros had disappeared from the Stockholm Royal Coin Cabinet. A perpetrator is now standing trial. A second one is the subject of ongoing investigations.
