Auction 4 – From ASSAB to AFIS

Coins

12 November 2023

IT-Verona

Nomisma Aste Verona presents Auction 4 “From ASSAB to AFIS”. The sale offers a collection that retraces the Italian presence abroad through coins and banknotes: Eritrea, Somalia, China, Albania and other territories occupied by Italians, but also coins that are connected to them, for example Ethiopian coins of Menelik II and those released during periods of crisis in coins and banknotes circulation in those territories. An extraordinary auction for the originality and completeness of the historical period outlined, for the rarity of its coins and banknotes and for the high state of preservation of many of them. The auction will take place on 12 November in the wonderful Villa Mosconi Bertani in Arbizzano-Santa Maria (Verona) and live on Bid Inside platform. Highlights from the sale:
