ID XU37G: Italy. Lucania. Velia. Didrachm circa 340-334, AR 23.5mm, 7.66 g. Lightly toned, light cleaning marks, minor porosity, die shift on reverse, otherwise about extremely fine.
ID GW3LK: Crete. Gortyna. Stater, circa 330-270, AR 24 mm, 11.69 g. Rare. Old cabinet tone and good very fine.
ID PLSMT: Roman Republic. Divus Julius Caesar, with Q. Voconius Vitulus, as moneyer. AR Denarius 40 BC, Rome; 3.23 g. Pleasant dark toning, scratches on reverse, edge partly tooled, otherwise almost extremely fine.
ID 0RX68: German States. Nuremberg. 1/4 Ducat nd (1700), Nuremberg; 0.86 g. Almost uncirculated, AU 50-53.
ID ZO7BI: Russia, Tzardom. Paul I, 1796-1801. Tribute Medal in Gold to Peter I the Great (1682-1725). Medal of 22 Dukats; 76.13 g.; 47 mm; by Timofej Ivanov. No other specimens known in gold. PCGS graded SP61. TOP POP.
ID NUEOD: Papal States. Pius IX, 1846-1878. Large Gold Medal of 15 Ducats AN XVII (1862); 51.12 g. by C. Voigt. For the reintroduction of the “Peterspfennig”. Extremely rare in gold. PCGS graded SP 63. TOP POP.
ID YGE92: Great Britain. George V, 1916-1936. Official large Gold Coronation Medal, 1911; 78.72 g.; by B. Mackennel. PCGS graded SP 63.
ID MD3LC: Sweden. The Nobel Committee. Gold Medal 1960 for Physics or Chemistry, Eskilstuna. 21.1 g.; 27 mm; by Lindberg. NGC graded MS 64.
