Edward Waddell has updated his inventory on coin.com with a selection of Magna Graecia coins with excellent pedigrees at fixed prices.
Various city states in Greece founded colonies in Italy and Sicily in order to further their economic goals for expansion. Some of these colonies such as Cumae then founded their own sub-colonies in Italy and Sicily. Most of the colonies were organized prior to the advent of coinage, but were fast to adopt coins as early as the 6th century B.C. They produced some of the most distinctive types and beautiful coins in the ancient world. Edward Waddell, Ltd offers a small selection of Magna Graecia coins with excellent pedigrees for your consideration.
