Classical Numismatic Group presents their Islamic Auction 7, to be held in two sessions. Session 1, a live sale, will be held in the rooms of the London Mathematical Society, 57-58 Russell Square, London WC1B 4HS on 24 October 2024 beginning at 2 PM BST (9 AM EST). Session 2, an electronic sale, will close beginning at 2 PM BST (9 AM EST) on 25 October 2024. Together, this sale features almost 850 lots, making it their largest Islamic sale to date. This auction is highlighted by a number of rarities, including:

  • An Arab-Sasanian drachm of Abu Hadhir b. Hajan
  • Rare and unpublished Umayyad dirhams
  • A high-grade ‘Abbasid dinar dated AH 132, with auction provenance
  • A unique Ikhshidid donative double-dirham of Ramla
