From Monday, November 4 to Friday, November 8, 2024, Künkers eLive Auction 84 will take place from 2:00 PM each day. The auction will be presenting 4,000 lots with coins from the Ancient World as well as coins and medals from Europe and overseas.

On Monday, November 4, the sale will start at 2:00 PM with a wide range of Celtic, Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins, coins from the Crusader period and oriental coins. The focus is on Greek coins with a series of Bactrian coins and Roman coins, with a series of tetradrachms of Caracalla standing out. Interesting and collector-friendly lots from all areas of ancient numismatics should also be emphasized.

You will also find European coins and medals from the territories of Andorra to the Russian Empire.

On the second day of the auction, Tuesday, November 5, more European coins and medals will come under the virtual hammer, this time from the areas of San Marino to Hungary, followed by coins and medals from overseas. This will be followed by coins from the Habsburg hereditary lands – Austria and the first part of German coins and medals from Aachen to Baden.

On Wednesday, November 6, you can look forward to the second part of German coins and medals with the areas Bamberg to Cologne and on Thursday, November 7, to the areas Königslutter to Zellerfeld as well as German medals.

The numismatic final on Friday, November 8, will be the coins of the German Empire and later as well as lots and paper money.

Further highlights are coins from the Borstel find (e.g. lot number 6598 or lot number 6226), a larger collection of silver medals with a focus on Brunswick (e.g. lot number 5940 or lot number 4520) as well as a small series of Westphalian coins with some rare copper coins (e.g. lot number 6784).
