Classical Numismatic Group presents Triton XXVIII, a Public & Online Sale, with sessions 1-4 closing Tuesday & Wednesday, 14-15 January 2025. Triton XXVIII sessions 1-4 will be held at the InterContinental New York Barclay, 111 E 48th St., New York, NY, in the Barclay Salon (Lobby level). This portion of the sale offers 1154 lots with a presale estimate of just over $5.1 million.
This feature sale presents Greek, Celtic, Oriental Greek, Central Asian, Roman Provincial, Roman Republican and Imperatorial, and Roman Imperial coinage. Additionally, there are featured selections of Byzantine, Early Medieval and Islamic, World coinage and medals, and British coinage and medals.

Viewing
Lot viewing of all lots will be available prior to and during the auction in the Morgan Suite at the InterContinental New York Barclay, 111 E 48th St., New York, NY.
- Sunday, 12 January 2025 – 1 PM until 7 PM
- Monday, 13 January 2025 – 9 AM until 7 PM
- Tuesday, 14 January 2025 – 8 AM until 6 PM
- Wednesday, 15 January 2025 – 8 AM until Noon
Lots for sessions 1-4 may also be viewed at the Lancaster office from 1 December 2024 until 9 January 2025, by appointment only. Lancaster office hours: 10 AM until 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Please note that the hours will be limited during the holiday season.
Additionally, the British coins and medals for sessions 1-4 (lots 1010-1141) may also be viewed at the new London office from 4-13 December 2024, 10 AM to 5 PM, by appointment only. The new office is located at De Morgan House. 57-58 Russel Square, London WC1B 4HS.
