Wolfgang Steguweit Receives the Federal Cross of Merit
The renowned numismatist Wolfgang Steguweit has been awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. The German President has thus honoured Steguweit’s cultural achievements – and not only in the field of numismatics.
The Second Sofia Numismatic School
Students who wish to deepen their knowledge of ancient numismatics can now apply for the Sofia Numismatic School. It will take place in September 2025 at the Archaeological Research Base of the Roman Colony of Deultum (near Burgas).

The 7th International Numismatic Conference of the Coin Cabinet of the Royal Library of Belgium takes place on 5 October 2024 and will focus on survival ratios of ancient coinages. Proposals for submissions are expected by 1 December 2023.
