The newly discovered Worcestershire Conquest Hoard is the largest hoard from the reign of Nero ever discovered in Britain. Worcestershire Heritage, Art & Museums has launched a fundraising campaign to acquire the 1,368 Iron Age and Roman coins for the county.

Thousands of objects have disappeared from the British Museum – allegedly stolen by a senior curator. The matter was uncovered by an antiquities dealer, whose warnings fell on deaf ears. The museum’s director has stepped down, and this seems to be merely the tip of the iceberg.

Tulsa, Oklahoma rare coin dealer John Highfill, founder of the National Silver Dollar Roundtable and author of a landmark 1,200-page reference book, The Comprehensive U.S. Silver Dollar Encyclopedia, passed away on June 15, 2025. He was 82.
