The particular highlight of this auction is the gold strike from the Schemnitz Gulden weighing 6 ½ ducats, 1878 from the Kremnitz mint by Franz Joseph (Lot 706). This is the second piece known to the trade! Another piece has been in the coin cabinet of the KHM in Vienna since it was acquired in 1889. A comparison with the piece from the KHM has shown that they are from the same dies.
