These 29 lots of 8 escudos gold coins from the reign of Carlos III were minted from 1761 to 1789 in Chile under Spanish rule. The group of high-quality coins includes various rarities and variants. The catalogue includes a large commentary to introduce historical details of the Santiago mint and the reign of Carlos III.
