Cayón Subastas presents its Subasta 422 closing on 20-21 November 2024. The sale features rich selection of Greek and Roman coins, from a collection assembled in the 1980s and 1990s.
Lot 5546: Akragas. Tetradrachm. Pedigree 1925. Starting price: 30,000 euros.
Lot 5427: Calcidia-Menda. Tetradrachm. Pedigree 1993. Starting price: 2,250 euros.
Lot 5579: Sicily/Catania-Siracusa. Tetradrachm. Starting price: 4,300 euros.
Session A consists of about 200 silver Greek coins, including some scarce and rare types. Many specimens are in attractive condition and nicely toned. In addition, there are some 1980s and 1990s pedigree and two fantastic 1925 pedigrees (ex Naunteil collection). One of them is the extremely rare Akragas tetradrachm (starting price: 30,000 EUR). This sale features live bidding on November 20th at 6:00 PM (Madrid).

Session B presents about 300 Greek and Roman coins with nice and scarce Greek bronzes, a group of Roman Provincial coins, and some interesting Roman speciemens. All coins have very low starting prices. This sale will be an eauction, closing on November 21st at 5:00 PM (Madrid). Bids have to be place prior closing.
