Struck for the first International Monetary Conference, held in Paris in 1867. The initiative proposed at this assembly was the adoption of a single gold standard, decimalization and overall international coordination of various currencies. The dual denominations of “DUCAT” and “ONE HUNDRED PENCE” were an attempt to satisfy these initiatives. Price: $79,500.
