Shanna Schmidt announced a small but powerful group of fixed price items available from the NAC USA offices in Chicago. The list includes ancient coins from the private coin cabinet of the NAC London offices, available for immediate purchase. The list is divided into the sections Greek, Roman Republic, Roman Empire and Byzantine.

US1165 – 5/13354: Magna Graecia, Sicily. Leontini, c. 460 – 450 BC. AR Tetradrachm, 17.24g (27mm, 4h). Ex CNG-NAC 60, 1996, lot 735. Ex NAC 23, 2002, lot 1095. Ex NAC 72, 2013, lot 316. Ex NAC 114, 2019, lot 50. Large flan. Some minor pitting and corrosive areas. Reverse has areas of wear but is otherwise complete. aEF. Price: $28,750.
US1075. Roman Imperatorial, Asia Minor or Northern Greece. Mark Antony and Octavia, Moving military mint, c. Summer – Autumn 39 BC. AV Aureus, 7.95g (20mm, 11h). Well centered and struck for type. Exceedingly rare issue of Octavia and Antony. Overall porous surfaces and light wear. Flan flaw on edge at 12h. Pleasant VF. Price: $55,000.
US1127 – 5/14467: Roman Empire, Italy. Lucius Verus, c. 161 – 169 AD Rome, c. 163 – 164 AD. AV Aureus, 7.24g (18mm, 6h). Ex Leu 86, 2003, lot 871. Ex NAC 100, 2017, lot 528. From De Guermantes Collection. Some light marks and flow lines visible. Beautiful high relief with remarkably good strike. Mint State. Price: $36,800.
