The Coin Cabinet is delighted to present Kallista II, the second instalment of their signature printed Ancients auction, live from their offices in Central London, with the first lot set to hammer on Thursday, 27th March at 2pm GMT.
Following the resounding success of Kallista I, this auction – co-branded with Apollo Art Auctions Ltd – continues the exciting series, offering treasures from the Celtic tribes, Magna Graecia, Ancient Greece, the Roman Republic, the Imperatorial age, the Roman Empire and its provinces, the Byzantine and Migrationary eras and the Islamic world.
Pre-bidding for Kallista II is available now across Biddr, Sixbid, and The Coin Cabinet’s own auction platform, hosted at auctions.thecoincabinet.com. The live auction will be streamed exclusively through The Coin Cabinet’s platform and app, available for Apple and Android devices.
Among the highlights of Kallista II are a Siculo-Punic tetradrachm of breathtaking beauty, a remarkable selection of high-grade, well-pedigreed Roman aurei and a pair of Arab-Byzantine coins of immense historical significance. This auction promises to be another unmissable event in The Coin Cabinet’s growing series of biannual signature Ancients auctions – offering collectors a rare chance to secure exceptional pieces of history.
