Successful Spring Auctions at Gorny & Mosch in Munich

Gorny & Mosch
Auction 310
Coins
3-5 March 2025
D-Munich

Over 850 antique coins were successfully auctioned off by Gorny & Mosch on March 3 and 4, 2025 in their own offices. Greek coins and coins from the Roman Empire were particularly popular, with exceptionally high hammer prices. For example, a stater from Aegina (lot 166) achieved almost six times its estimated value. A gold stater of Philip III rose to twice its estimate. The situation is similar with the Roman coins of the imperial period, whose hammer price generally rose to twice the estimate or more. All prizes include the buyer’s premium.
