Cayón Subastas (Madrid, Spain) is holding an extraordinary sale on July 1st and 2nd. The sale focuses on Spanish and Moroccan coins.

The first part features a collection of Spanish silver coins, including several dozen cobs and pillar coins, as well as hundreds of 8 reales bust coins. Highlights include two varieties of 8 reales, one from Lima dated 1659 and the other 1652 piece from Nuevo Reino.

The second part presents a highly important collection of Moroccan coins with more than 1,500 lots, including gold issues, proof-essays, mitqals, mazumas, and, of course, falus and dirhams. Highlights include a gold 10 mitqals from 1201 (Madrid mint) — with only about a dozen known – and a mitqal of 10 dirhams from 1195.
