ANA eLearning Academy Now Without Access Restrictions

Exciting news for coin enthusiasts—access to online numismatic education is now easier than ever before. After launching a restructured eLearning Academy earlier this year, the American Numismatic Association (ANA) has transitioned the programs from a Learning Management System (LMS) to money.org. Feedback from users emphasized a desire for simpler access to the Academy’s content, and hosting directly on money.org makes this possible.

With this change, users no longer have to be a member of the ANA, allowing everyone (professionals and beginners) the chance to discover and explore the world of money. Switching from an LMS removed the need for additional login information, eliminating another barrier between the user and the content.

The only program to remain on the LMS is the Numismatic Diploma Program, which still requires an additional purchase to access. The first course, “Introduction to Numismatics,” is available online, with additional courses being added over 5-6 month periods. The second course will be available soon. More information on how to receive a “Numismatic Scholar” certificate can be found at the Academy web page.
