6th Auction of Numismatic Literature at Numismatisches Antiquariat Lang

Numismatisches Antiquariat Lang
Literature-Auction 6
Literature
15 May 2025
Online

The 6th auction of the Numismatisches Antiquariat Lang will take place on 15th of May 2025 at 17:00 (CEST).

As usual, you can expect a wide selection of numismatic literature. A special highlight is part of the private library of a passionate book lover, whose works are of exceptional quality. The magnificently bound editions and rare originals are a valuable addition to any library.

Furthermore, an extensive library on ancient numismatics is offered, which leaves nothing to be desired in its diversity – from original and rare works to standard literature. Particularly noteworthy is a copy from the Kreindler and Raymond library, the work by Forrer on the Hermann Weber collection.

The bibliophile works open the auction with a total of 83 lots. This section is characterized by both high quality and exceptional rarities.

Books on general literature, magazines and auction catalogs round off the offerings of the 6th auction. The journals include complete series, including the Hamburger Beiträge zur Numismatik, the Jahrbuch für Numismatik und Geldgeschichte, the Monatsblatt der Numismatischen Gesellschaft in Wien and the Sylloge of Coins of the British Isles. Auction catalogs are also represented again in larger series and with special collections.

The auction comprises a total of 991 lots that are waiting to find a new owner.
