Born in 1973, Dirk Wasserthal studied administrative law in Darmstadt. After graduating, he started his career at Lufthansa, working in the department of financial services as well as mobile payment solutions until 2018. Then he ventured into the banking industry, where he worked at various institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank and Postbank. In these positions, he mainly worked in release management, IT governance and IT security.
However, his true passion has always been for precious metals, particularly rare gold coins. He has been an avid coin collector for more than 20 years, driven by his fascination for rarities. This passion and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Wasserthal RareCoin.Store. He provides his clients with comprehensive support in the field of modern numismatics and benefits from a far-reaching international network.
