A New Era for the Caribbean: The Caribbean Guilder is Coming
In March 2025, a new currency will be introduced – the Caribbean Guilder. Collectors can look forward to intricately designed coins and banknotes that highlight the cultural and maritime identity of the islands of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
Jewish-American Hall of Fame honors Julius Rosenwald and Booker T. Washington
The Jewish-American Hall of Fame is celebrating May as Jewish American Heritage Month by issuing art medals honoring Julius Rosenwald, who appears along with his friend and associate Booker T. Washington. These Renaissance-style high relief medals are the 56th in the longest continuing series of art medals in America.

NUMISMATA Under New Management
The NUMISMATA is under new management, as announced on the coin show’s website. Former staff members will take over the organization under the name EMZ Messeveranstaltungs UG. The NUMISMATA in Berlin will also take place again in 2025.
These Are Japan’s New Banknotes
In April 2023, the Bank of Japan has presented the first specimens of the new banknotes, which will enter circulation in 2024. The 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 yen denominations will feature new motifs and new security features.
